Maintenance packages are an ideal option to keep your website foundation, theme, and plugins backed-up and updated on a regular basis by experienced website technicians.
The following work will be completed quarterly (every 3 months) over the course of the year.
Maintenance deliverables
- Back up website and DB
- Update WordPress Core
- Update / Upgrade WordPress DB
- Address any issues in the new WordPress “Site health” admin
- Test website functionality and performance following updates
- Clear server caches ( page-cache, the CDN cache, and the object cache )
- Notify team of maintenance completed and any updates or feature changes
Reporting
- Maintenance report on all updates completed
- Notification on upcoming technical concerns
- Recommendations on security improvements
- Recommendations performance considerations
What is a maintenance package?
Maintenance packages are pre-purchased blocks of time purchased in 4 hours increments (4, 8, 12 hour). This secures our availability to keep care of the website over the course of the year, and coordinate regularly scheduled maintenance. Time is tracked to the 15 minute mark rather than rounding to the nearest hour. An update on remaining time including detailed notes can be requested at any time.
